or criminal case as far as it needs to go.
Matthew D. Ory, JD
Long before his days in college sports, Matthew Ory had developed a competitive nature, pushing himself to the limits in striving for victory. Today, as a seasoned trial lawyer with a focus in criminal defense, Matt has not lost any of that competitive spirit and is driven by the challenge of securing a positive outcome for his clients.
In his six years of practicing law, Matthew D. Ory has developed a stellar record as a clever, tenacious trial lawyer. Matt has earned a reputation as a go-to criminal defense attorney who is able to find strategic approaches to his cases and to bring the message home to the jury. In addition to his criminal defense cases, Matt also has solid experience trying cases in personal injury, medical malpractice and family law throughout the south Louisiana region.
When families of the Tri-Parish Region have faced domestic legal challenges, Matt has taken the time to listen to their concerns and helped them come up with solutions. Matt is well know for his experience in handling the needs of individuals seeking assistance with Family Law & Divorce. This includes: dissolution of a marriage, child custody, child support, and trying to achieve fair spousal support.
The grandson of Clarence C. "Taddy" Aycock, former Louisiana Lt. Governor under governor Jimmie Davis, Matt grew up in an environment that instilled values of confidence and hard work that still guide him today.
